In this exhibition we explore Chihiro’s encounter with the works of authors Hans Christian Andersen and Kenji Miyazawa, what she found appealing about them, and how she came to create illustrations for them. In our project exhibition, we will showcase the world of Roger Mello from Brazil, the host country for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Original artwork from twelve of his picture books, featuring vivid colors and daring design, will be presented for the first time in Japan.
